General Terms and Conditions – Courses Ice Skating Club St. Jakob Basel-Münchenstein
1. Course registration
Course registrations are only possible online via the ice skating club’s homepage.
A separate registration is required for each quarter.
Course places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee of a place.
Registrations are binding. The entire course fee must be paid in full before the end of the course.
From the second child in the same family onwards, we offer a 10% discount.
Registration after the course has begun is possible, subject to availability. However, no discounts are offered.
The St. Jakob Basel-Münchenstein ice skating club reserves the right to cancel courses if the number of participants is too low.
2. Payments
The entire course fee must be paid by bank transfer no later than before the end of the course.
If the course fee is not paid after a reminder, the course place will be released.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations must be sent in writing by email to kurse@eislaufclubbasel.ch.
If you have to cancel the course due to an accident or illness, you will be refunded the course fee upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
In all other cases, no refund is possible.
4. Membership
The membership fee is invoiced once a year and is to be paid by bank transfer within the payment deadline.
If the membership fee is not paid after a reminder, the member will be excluded from ice training.
A refund of the membership fee is not possible.
5. Miscellaneous
Insurance is the responsibility of each individual participant.
Participation in the courses is at your own risk.
Missed course days cannot be made up or replaced.
In case of bad weather (heavy rain or snowfall), the course instructor may cancel the course units or offer them as off-ice training on site.
The group allocation is done by the trainers and the course administration.
6. Data protection
The St. Jakob Basel-Münchenstein Ice Skating Club collects and processes personal data (name, contact details, course details) exclusively for the purpose of course organization and member administration.
By registering, the participant or his/her legal representative agrees to the storage and processing of this data.
In addition, the participant or their legal representative agrees to the publication of photos and videos taken during the courses or club events on the club website, in social media (Facebook, Instagram) and in other club publications.
Any objection to the publication of photos should be sent by email to information@eislaufclubbasel.ch. Please include the member's full name.
7. Liability
The St. Jakob Basel-Münchenstein Ice Skating Club assumes no liability for accidents, injuries or theft during lessons or on the club premises.
Participation in all courses and events is at your own risk.
