From what age can my child participate?
Our children's classes start at approximately 3–4 years of age. It's important that your child can walk independently, enjoys movement, and is able to separate from you for short periods.
What do you need for the course?
Clothing:
Gloves are mandatory – for safety reasons.
Wear warm, sporty clothing: e.g., ski pants or leggings with a jacket, hat, or headband.
It is ideal to have several layers so that your child feels comfortable depending on the weather.
Helmet:
Recommended for beginners and children.
A bicycle or ski helmet is sufficient.
Ice skates:
You can use your own skates.
Ice skates can also be rented directly from us – just indicate this when registering.
We will be happy to advise you on your purchase or selection.
How do I care for my ice skates?
After the ice: dry thoroughly, especially the blades
Use protectors (soft for transport, hard for walking to the ice rink)
Regular grinding maintains quality – we are happy to help you organize it
Can I try out a course?
Yes – with our trial course you or your child can participate free of charge and without obligation.

Are there also private lessons?
Yes! Our trainers offer private lessons for children and adults—ideal for individual support or targeted technique improvement.

How often do the courses take place?
Usually once a week, some groups train several times – depending on the course and level.

How much does a course cost?
You can find the prices in the respective offers.
In addition, club membership is required:
Children/Youth: CHF 50.– per season
Adults: CHF 80.– per season
Where do the courses take place?
St. Jakob Arena (all year round, covered)
Artificial ice rink Margarethen & Eglisee (open in winter)
How do I log on?
Simply register online using the registration form for the respective offer.
You will receive a confirmation by email – please register early, places are limited!
Can my child appear in photos?
We occasionally take photographs for website & club communications.
If you do not want this, please let us know when you register.
What if my child is sick or absent?
Please unsubscribe via email. We cannot guarantee a rescheduled event, but we will strive for fair solutions.
Are there any offers during the holidays?
Yes! Our school holiday camps offer daily on-ice and off-ice training, games, and fun—ideal for motivated kids.
