Membership Information

Membership for Basic Courses and Sternli 1+2

To participate in the EjB basic courses, Sternli 1 and Sternli 2 courses, as well as adult courses, a membership with the EjB is required.
This membership is automatically created upon course registration.

• CHF 50.00 for children

• CHF 80.00 for adults

The membership fee is billed once per calendar year (January–December).

Membership is required to take part in courses on the Basel ice rinks, particularly in the St. Jakob Arena, and does not include any further obligations.

Junior & Senior Membership

The Junior and Senior membership is for skaters who actively participate in club courses, development groups, or competitions.
This membership gives access to all club programs, training sessions, and competitions under the club’s name.

• Active membership typically begins after passing the Sternli 3 test.

• Skaters who haven’t yet passed Sternli 3 may still apply for active membership if they wish to join development groups or take part in competitions.

This type of membership includes several responsibilities, such as:

• Regular participation in training sessions

• Active involvement in club events

• Volunteering at competitions and shows

We warmly welcome your passive membership!

Your contribution helps support the club and provides opportunities for children and young people to pursue their passion for figure skating.

• Junior Member: CHF 230.00

• Senior Member: CHF 270.00

• Adults (no competitions or tests): CHF 80.00

• Basic Courses & Sternli 1+2: CHF 50.00

• Guest Membership: on request

• Passive Membership: CHF 50.00
